Hope for the Future Children’s Foundation, Inc. has been established for the purpose of helping the children of single mothers in Florida and Costa Rica.  The Foundation primary focus is working with low income single mothers and their children in the Greater Orlando area.  These families will be identified through existing agencies and churches.   A very large percentage of children of single mothers end up in a life of crime.  It is the plan of the Foundation to assist these single mothers and children holistically. By that we mean is to provide support to survive financially, emotionally, and spiritually.  Every single mother brought into the program will be led to resources that can help them not only survive but also to thrive.  The children will be provided mentors.

 In Costa Rica the Foundation works with the Costa Rican Humanitarian Foundation who identifies at risk children of very poor single mothers. Currently, the Foundation is working with some very poor families in a suburb of San Jose, Costa Rica called La Carpio.  It is a community of 40,000 very poor people. It is the goal of the foundation to assist these families so that they can eventually become self sufficient. Also, the desire is to provide a stable environment so that the children of La Carpio do not become another victim of poverty.

The Foundation is looking for donations to help low income single mothers and their children in the Greater Orlando area.  Since every situation is different, the cost per family will vary.
